Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add canola oil to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Heat with filler cap removed - 140°C, speed 3
  8. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  9. Slice shallot and celery stalk into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  10. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  11. Add pancetta, garlic clove, fresh thyme, bay leaves and tomato paste to the kCook bowl
  12. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 110°C, speed 2
  13. Then add red lentils and vegetable stock to the kCook bowl
  14. Cook with filler cap fitted - 15 min, 96°C, speed 3
  15. Then add salt & pepper to the kCook bowl to taste
  16. Add double cream to the kCook bowl
  17. Remove the bay leaves from the bowl
  18. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 98°C, speed 3
  19. Blend with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 12
  20. Serve
  21. Garnish with double cream
  22. Sprinkle with fresh parsley
