Creamy soup topped with a touch of fresh cream and chestnuts. Serve with farmhouse bread or croutons.The biggest challenge with this dish is peeling the pumpkins. We have used a bouquet garni in the recipe which will need removing from the food just before blending, but you can also use a bouquet garni cube, to crumble directly in the water. Step preview

  1. Fit coarse grating disc (3) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add olive oil to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Heat with filler cap removed - 140°C, speed 3
  8. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  9. Grate onion into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  10. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  11. Add garlic clove and salt & pepper to the kCook bowl
  12. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 120°C, speed 2
  13. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  14. Grate summer squash and patty pan into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  15. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  16. Add bouquet garni and water to the kCook bowl
  17. Cook with filler cap fitted - 20 min, 98°C, speed 1
  18. Remove the bouquet garni if you used one
  19. Blend with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 12
  20. Season as needed
  21. Serve
  22. Garnish with canned chestnuts and crème fraîche
