Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  2. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Place smoked bacon on an clean oven rack
  4. Cook until crispy and turn half way through
  5. Transfer bacon to cutting board
  6. Chop
  7. Attach Spiral Dough Tool
  8. Sift bread flour, wholemeal bread flour, salt and baking soda into the Kenwood Bowl
  9. Add fresh sage, celery stalk, natural yogurt and milk to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Transfer bacon to Kenwood Bowl
  11. Mix with splashguard fitted until dough forms - 2 min, Speed 1
  12. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  13. Roll into a ball
  14. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  15. Flatten slightly
  16. Score on top
  17. Sprinkle with all purpose flour
  18. Bake until golden brown - 35 min, 200°C
  19. Remove from oven and let cool
  20. Serve
