Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Add milk and butter to a clean saucepan
  3. Heat until melted and let cool - low heat
  4. Attach Whisk
  5. Transfer content of saucepan to Kenwood Bowl
  6. Add dried yeast to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until well combined - 30 sec, Speed 1
  8. Attach Spiral Dough Tool
  9. Add egg, all purpose flour, caster sugar and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until dough forms - 10 min, Speed 1
  11. Cover with kitchen towel
  12. Prove - 1 hr
  13. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  14. Divide into 12 equal pieces
  15. Roll into a ball
  16. Transfer dough balls to baking tray evenly
  17. Let rest - 40 min
  18. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  19. Retrieve the baking tray containing the dough balls
  20. Brush with egg
  21. Bake until golden brown - 20 min, 190°C
  22. Remove from oven and let cool
  23. Serve
