This casserole makes a great warming dinner for those cold, dark winter nights. Fragrant with parsley and thyme, this is best served with steamed rice or creamy mashed potato to soak up the hearty chicken gravy.

Step preview

  1. Add chicken breast and all purpose flour to a clean small bowl
  2. Mix until coated then set aside
  3. Attach the Stir Tool
  4. Add olive oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Heat with splashguard fitted until hot - 1 min, 110°C, Speed OFF
  7. Then add onion, carrot, celery stalk, button mushroom and fresh thyme to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Cook until softened - 4 min, 120°C, Stir 2
  9. Season to taste
  10. Transfer chicken to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  11. Cook with splashguard fitted until softened - 5 min, 110°C, Stir 2
  12. Then add chicken stock, bay leaves and fresh parsley to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  13. Cook with splashguard fitted until reduced - 15 min, 98°C, Stir 3
  14. Add cornstarch and water to a clean small bowl
  15. Mix until combined
  16. Transfer cornflour mixture to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  17. Cook until thickened - 10 min, 104°C, Stir 3
  18. Serve
