Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 150°C
  2. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Add all purpose flour and ground almonds to the baking tray
  4. Spread evenly
  5. Bake while stirring occasionally - 30 min, 150°C
  6. Remove from oven and let cool
  7. Attach K Beater
  8. Add hazelnut chocolate spread, lard, icing sugar, cocoa powder and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  9. Transfer content of baking tray to Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until fine crumbs form - 4 min, Speed 3
  11. Transfer crumbs to work surface
  12. Shape into a circle
  13. Roll out until 1" thick
  14. Cut out equal pieces
  15. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  16. Chill in fridge until firm - 20 min
  17. Pre-heat oven - 150°C
  18. Retrieve the chilled dough shapes from the fridge
  19. Bake - 20 min, 150°C
  20. Remove from oven and let cool
  21. Dust with icing sugar
  22. Serve
