Step preview

  1. Line a clean springform tin with parchment paper
  2. Attach the K-Beater
  3. Add butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Cook with splashguard fitted until melted - 5 min, 80°C, Stir 1
  6. Then add caster sugar, cocoa powder and biscuits to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 3 min, Speed 3
  8. Press mixture into springform tin
  9. Refrigerate until needed
  10. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  11. Attach the Stir Tool
  12. Add orange and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  13. Add whipping cream to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  14. Cook with splashguard fitted until creamy - 4 min, 80°C, Speed 1
  15. Then add silver leaf gelatin sheet to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  16. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 1
  17. Transfer mixture to medium bowl
  18. Add whipping cream to the medium bowl
  19. Mix until combined
  20. Set aside and let cool
  21. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  22. Attach the Creaming Beater
  23. Add cream cheese to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  24. Mix with splashguard fitted until light and fluffy - 2 min, Speed 3
  25. Transfer content of medium bowl to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  26. Add dark chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  27. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 2
  28. Transfer mixture to springform tin
  29. Spread evenly
  30. Chill in fridge - 5 hr
  31. Retrieve the chilled cheesecake from the fridge
  32. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  33. Attach the Stir Tool
  34. Add whipping cream to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  35. Cook with splashguard fitted until just boiling - 10 min, 100°C, Stir 3
  36. Add dark chocolate to a clean heatproof bowl
  37. Pour cream into chocolate
  38. Mix until well combined
  39. Pour chocolate into springform tin
  40. Let cool in fridge - 15 min
  41. Place cake on serving plate
  42. Garnish with orange
  43. Serve
