A delicious, hearty, comforting soup for cold winter evenings. Serve with a few parsley leaves and oven-roasted pumpkin seeds. User generated recipes have not been tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. When cutting the pumpkin, keep the seeds and grill them for 10 minutes, then set them aside
  2. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  3. Add olive oil, onion, garlic clove and prawns to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  6. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 120°C, speed 2
  7. Set aside 50 g of the fried prawns
  8. Add pumpkin, vegetable stock and whipping cream to the kCook bowl
  9. Cook with filler cap fitted - 20 min, 98°C, speed 1
  10. Then add ground cumin and salt & pepper to the kCook bowl
  11. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed
  12. Blend with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 12
  13. Check seasoning again
  14. Serve
  15. Garnish with fresh parsley
  16. Sprinkle the toasted pumpkin seeds and add some of the reserved prawns
