Super easy no-bake traybake with crushed biscuits layered with smooth minty buttercream and topped with swirls of melted chocolate. This delightful treat is perfect for parties or as an afternoon tea cake option.

Step preview

  1. Grease and line a clean baking tray with parchment paper then set aside
  2. Attach the K-Beater
  3. Add golden syrup, butter and dark chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Cook with splashguard fitted until melted - 5 min, 60°C, Stir 1
  6. Then add biscuits to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until well combined - 1 min, Speed 1
  8. Press mixture into baking tray
  9. Chill in fridge until set
  10. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  11. Attach the Creaming Beater
  12. Add butter, icing sugar, mint extract and green food colouring to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  13. Mix with splashguard fitted until light and fluffy - 3 min, Speed 3
  14. Retrieve the baking tray from the fridge
  15. Transfer buttercream to baking tray
  16. Chill in fridge until set - 30 min
  17. Add dark chocolate and butter to a clean heatproof bowl
  18. Microwave in microwave until melted then set aside
  19. Add white chocolate, butter and green food colouring to a clean heatproof bowl
  20. Microwave in microwave until melted then set aside
  21. First pour the dark chocolate mixture over the buttercream. Then pour the white chocolate with green colour
  22. Use a knife to create a swirl pattern
  23. Place baking tray in fridge until set - 15 min
  24. Cut into squares
  25. Serve
