Nothing says 'I love you' like these easy to make homemade chocolate truffles. Crunchy biscuit truffles coated in smooth chocolate and finished with sprinkles; these are the perfect gift for a loved one on Valentine’s Day.

Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach the K-Beater
  3. Add butter and condensed milk to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Cook with splashguard fitted until melted - 10 min, 60°C, Stir 4
  6. Then add biscuits and cocoa powder to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed Min
  8. Roll into balls
  9. Transfer balls to baking tray
  10. Chill in freezer - 30 min
  11. Add dark chocolate to a clean heatproof bowl
  12. Microwave in microwave until melted while stirring frequently
  13. Retrieve the chilled truffles from the freezer
  14. Dip balls into chocolate
  15. Transfer balls to baking tray
  16. Chill in fridge until set - 15 min
  17. Add white chocolate to a clean heatproof bowl
  18. Microwave in microwave until melted while stirring frequently
  19. Add red food coloring to the heatproof bowl
  20. Mix until well combined and let cool
  21. Transfer chocolate to piping bag
  22. Retrieve the chilled truffles from the fridge
  23. Drizzle balls with chocolate
  24. Decorate with sprinkles
  25. Serve
