Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach K Beater
  3. Add butter and caster sugar to the Kenwood bowl
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 2 min, Speed Max
  5. Then add cornflour and all purpose flour to the Kenwood bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed Max
  7. Then add water to the Kenwood bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed Max
  9. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  10. Roll out until 2cm thick
  11. Cut into rectangles
  12. Prick an indentation
  13. Transfer biscuits to baking tray
  14. Sprinkle with caster sugar
  15. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  16. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  17. Bake until light golden - 13 min, 180°C
  18. Let cool onto cooling rack
  19. Serve
