This delicious and simple pea soup is free from gluten and sugar (just make sure your vegetable broth doesn't contain either). Garnish with some fresh basil and serve with a slice of crusty bread. User generated recipes have not been tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add onion, garlic clove and olive oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Heat with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 90°C, Speed 1
  5. Then add red chili and vegetable stock to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Cook with splashguard fitted - 4 min, 100°C, Speed 1
  7. Then add frozen peas to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Cook with splashguard fitted - 12 min, 100°C, Speed 1
  9. Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine
  10. Fit the knife blade to the Food Processor bowl
  11. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to Food processor attachment
  12. Attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place
  13. Blend until smooth
  14. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  15. Attach the Stir Tool
  16. Transfer soup to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  17. Cook with splashguard fitted - 2 min, 80°C, Speed 1
  18. Then add salt & pepper to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl to taste
  19. Serve
