A mandolin makes light work of slicing the radishes ultra-thin, but use with caution! A sharp knife will also work well, it just takes a little longer. This quick pickle is super simple and will be ready as soon as it's cool, so be prepared to find yourself making these over and over again. This recipe makes enough to fill two 500 ml jars. Make sure your jars are sterilised by running through a dishwasher or rinsing with boiling water and drying in an oven with low heat.

Step preview

  1. Divide radish between the clean jars then set aside
  2. Attach the Stir Tool
