A great way to add extra zing to any salad or fish dish. These pickled lemons are simple to make and will keep refrigerated for up to three months. Squeeze over baked fish, serve alongside smoked salmon, or use to dress a crisp summer salad. Make sure your jars are sterilised by running them through a dishwasher or rinsing them with boiling water and drying them in the oven at a very low temperature.

Step preview

  1. Add lemon to a clean jar then set aside
  2. Attach the Stir Tool
  3. Add white wine vinegar, water, sea salt and sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl

  5. Heat with splashguard fitted until dissolved - 4 min, 110°C, Stir 2
  6. Pour content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl into jar
  7. Let cool - 1 hr
  8. Refrigerate
  9. Serve
