These cod fritters are fluffy on the inside with a crisp outside. The recipe takes inspiration from Caribbean style 'accras' which are made with salt cod, however ours uses unsalted cod fillet. We recommend serving these as an appetiser with a spicy dipping sauce.

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Add water to the kCook bowl
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Heat with filler cap removed - 104°C
  8. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  9. Slice potato into the steamer tray with direct prep attachment
  10. Add cod fillet to the steamer tray
  11. Steam - 15 min, 104°C
  12. Empty content of kCook bowl into sink
  13. Clean kCook bowl
  14. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  15. Add garlic clove, onion, salt & pepper, all purpose flour, fresh parsley and chili powder to the kCook bowl
  16. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  17. Transfer content of steamer tray to kCook bowl
  18. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  19. Blend with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 12
  20. Transfer content of kCook bowl to medium bowl
  21. Chill in fridge - approx 30 min
  22. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - medium-high heat
  23. Add vegetable oil to the frying pan
  24. Spoon mixture into frying pan bit by bit
  25. Fry each side in frying pan until light golden
  26. Remove carefully with slotted spoon
  27. Pat dry with paper towels
  28. Repeat with the rest
  29. Serve
