Use this peel in cake or scones or to decorate your bakes. You can use any Citrus peel, we use oranges, lemons, lime and pink grapefruit. Try to get as little pith as possible on your peel for a better result.

  1. Attach the Stir Tool
  2. Add water and Citrus peel to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Cook with splashguard fitted until softened - 10 min, 100°C, Stir 2
  5. Let rest - 15 min
  6. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to baking tray
  7. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  8. Attach the Stir Tool
  9. Add granulated sugar and water to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Cook with splashguard fitted until sugar has dissolved - 5 min, 100°C, Stir 2
  11. Transfer content of baking tray to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  12. Cook with splashguard fitted until soft - 15 min, 105°C, Stir 2
  13. Drain content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl into colander
  14. Spread out on the baking tray and let dry
  15. Toss with granulated sugar
  16. Serve
