These super fudgy brownies are the perfect indulgent treat for any occasion. Moreish fudge brownies with rich hazelnut chocolate and finished with crushed pecans and sea salt. Serve with vanilla ice cream for a decadent dessert.

Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease and line a clean square pan with parchment paper
  3. Add butter, dark chocolate and golden caster sugar to a clean heatproof bowl
  4. Microwave in microwave until melted
  5. Attach K Beater
  6. Transfer chocolate mixture to Kenwood Bowl
  7. Add egg to the Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until light and fluffy - 1 min, Speed 1
  9. Then add all purpose flour to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1
  11. Spoon batter into square pan
  12. Pour hazelnut chocolate spread into the square pan
  13. Using a toothpick, create a ripple effect
  14. Sprinkle with pecans and sea salt
  15. Bake until skewer tests clean - 40 min, 180°C
  16. Remove from oven and let cool
  17. Cut into squares
  18. Serve
