Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Line a clean cupcake pan with paper muffin cups
  3. Attach the Creaming Beater
  4. Add unsalted butter and golden caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 3 min, Speed 3
  7. Then add egg, all purpose flour, baking powder and vanilla extract to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 1
  9. Spoon batter into cupcake pan
  10. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  11. Remove from oven and let cool
  12. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  13. Attach the Creaming Beater
  14. Add unsalted butter, icing sugar, milk and vanilla extract to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  15. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 2
  16. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula
  17. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 1 min, Speed 4
  18. Transfer icing to bowl then set aside
  19. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  20. Attach the Creaming Beater
  21. Add dark chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  22. Cook with splashguard fitted until melted - 10 min, 60°C, Speed 1
  23. Then add unsalted butter, whipping cream and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  24. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 1
  25. Let cool slightly
  26. Add some icing onto the top of the cake to resemble an ice cream scoop
  27. Spoon some sauce on the icing
  28. Top with glace cherries and sprinkles
  29. Serve
