One of the easiest and delicious French recipes to make, this recipe serves four people as a small starter or it will serve two as a main. Serve in a large dish garnished with plenty of chopped parsley and accompanied by crusty bread or skinny fries. For a twist on this classic try using cider instead of wine.

  2. Add shallot and olive oil to the kCook bowl

  5. Blend with filler cap fitted - 10 sec, speed 12
  6. Then add unsalted butter, garlic clove, fresh thyme and bay leaves to the kCook bowl
  7. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  8. Cook with filler cap removed - 2 min, 100°C, speed 4
  9. Then add mussels and white wine to the kCook bowl
  10. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 140°C, speed 1
  11. Then add double cream to the kCook bowl
  12. Stir with filler cap removed - 30 sec, 98°C, speed 3
  13. Serve
  14. Garnish with fresh parsley
