These quick easy biscuits are lots of fun to make with children. Let them help shape and roll the biscuits in sprinkles but be careful it can get a little messy!

Step preview

  1. Attach Creaming beater
  2. Add unsalted butter and caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 2 min, Speed 1
  4. Then add egg to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1
  6. Then add all purpose flour, cornstarch, vanilla bean paste and milk to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1
  8. Transfer dough to work surface
  9. Wrap with plastic wrap
  10. Chill in fridge - 20 min
  11. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  12. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  13. Roll into balls
  14. Add sprinkles to a clean small bowl
  15. Roll each dough ball in the sprinkles until coated
  16. Place dough balls on baking tray
  17. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  18. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  19. Remove the baking tray from the fridge
  20. Bake - 12 min, 180°C
  21. Remove from oven and let cool
  22. Serve
