These fun biscuits are easier to make then you might think. They are perfect for children's parties, and they will love helping cut out the biscuits. We have used heart shapes, but you can use any shape you like.

Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach Creaming beater
  3. Add unsalted butter and caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 1
  5. Then add egg to the Kenwood Bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 1
  7. Then add all purpose flour, cornstarch, vanilla bean paste and milk to the Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 1
  9. Transfer dough to work surface
  10. Wrap with plastic wrap
  11. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  12. Retrieve the chilled dough from the fridge
  13. Place dough on lightly floured surface
  14. Roll out until 1 cm thick
  15. Cut out equal pieces
  16. Place biscuits on baking tray
  17. Use the 3 cm cutter to cut out the centre of the biscuits
  18. Fill with candy
  19. Chill in fridge - 15 min
  20. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  21. Remove the chilled biscuits from the fridge
  22. Bake - 12 min, 180°C
  23. Remove from oven and let cool
  24. Serve
