These fun cupcakes are great for children's parties of any size. We have dyed our icing 3 different colours to create a marbled effect. As this recipe makes so many cakes you will have to bake in batches so make sure you leave plenty of time to make these cupcakes.

- 850 g

Step preview
- Pre-heat oven - 180°C
- Line a clean cupcake pan
- Attach Creaming beater
- Add caster sugar and unsalted butter to the Kenwood Bowl
- Mix until combined then scrape bowl - 3 min, Speed Min
- Mix until smooth - 1 min, Speed 1
- Then add egg, all purpose flour, baking powder, milk and vanilla extract to the Kenwood Bowl
- Mix until combined - 1 min 30 sec, Speed Min
- Spoon some of the batter into cupcake pan
- Bake - 15 min, 180°C
- Remove from oven and let cool
- Repeat the filling and baking steps until all the batter has been used
- Clean Kenwood Bowl
- Attach Creaming beater
- Add unsalted butter, icing sugar, milk, vanilla extract and food coloring to the Kenwood Bowl
- Mix until combined then scrape bowl - 2 min, Speed 2
- Mix until smooth - 1 min, Speed 4
- Transfer icing to piping bag
- Pipe icing onto cupcakes
- Decorate with sprinkles
- Serve
