Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper then set aside
  3. Attach the K-Beater
  4. Add semi-salted butter, caster sugar and beetroot light brown sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until pale and light - 30 sec, Speed 2
  7. Then add all purpose flour, egg and dark chocolate to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until well combined - 20 sec, Speed 2
  9. Scoop the mixture onto the baking tray and flatten slightly with the palm of your hand
  10. Bake - 10 min, 180°C
  11. Remove from oven
  12. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
  13. Serve
