This is a great dinner that older children can make with little supervision or even by themselves. We have made ours in individual baking dishes, but any baking dish will do.

Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add butter, all purpose flour, cheddar cheese, baking powder and water to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 7
  8. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  9. Knead until elastic
  10. Wrap with plastic wrap
  11. Chill in fridge until needed
  12. Clean kCook bowl
  13. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  14. Add olive oil to the kCook bowl
  15. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  16. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  17. Cook with filler cap removed - 140°C, speed 3
  18. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  19. Slice onion, red bell pepper and carrot into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  20. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  21. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 120°C, speed 3
  22. Then add baked beans, barbecue sauce, sugar, salt and black pepper to the kCook bowl
  23. Cook with filler cap removed - 15 min, 98°C, speed 2
  24. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  25. Add sausage to the kCook bowl
  26. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 98°C, speed 3
  27. Retrieve the chilled dough from the fridge
  28. Transfer content of kCook bowl to 4 small baking dish
  29. Top with the torn bits of the dough
  30. Bake - 30 min, 190°C
  31. Serve
