This halloumi recipe is the perfect combination of sweet, sticky honey mixed with zingy lemon juice which makes this a flavour bomb with every bite. This is a super easy recipe to make with only 5 ingredients for the marinade. We recommend marinating the halloumi for at least 1 hour or overnight for maximum flavour. This is a perfect dish to serve at a dinner party or BBQ that will impress guests every time!

Step preview

  1. Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine
  2. Fit the knife blade to the Food Processor bowl
  3. Add honey, lemon, garlic clove and fresh thyme to the Food processor attachment
  4. Mix until well blended
  5. Remove the attachment from the machine
  6. Add halloumi to a clean bowl
  7. Pour marinade into bowl
  8. Mix carefully until coated
  9. Cover with plastic wrap
  10. Refrigerate in fridge - 1 hr
  11. Add olive oil to a clean griddle pan
  12. Heat until hot - medium-high heat
  13. Gently place some of the halloumi onto the hot pan
  14. Cook each side until cooked through - 4 min
  15. Serve
