Step preview

  1. Add ground cinnamon, brown sugar, pecans and dark chocolate to a clean medium bowl
  2. Mix until combined
  3. Attach the Dough Tool
  4. Add dried yeast and milk to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Heat with splashguard fitted - 2 min, 30°C, Speed Min
  7. Then add all purpose flour, brown sugar, unsalted butter and egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 min, Speed 1
  9. Remove the Dough Tool
  10. Prove with splashguard fitted - 1 hr, 30°C
  11. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  12. Divide into 2 equal pieces
  13. Roll out to 25 x 35 cm rectangles
  14. Brush with unsalted butter
  15. Sprinkle one half of the filling onto one of the dough pieces
  16. Roll up the dough starting with a shorter edge
  17. Slice into 8 pieces and cover them
  18. Repeat with the remaining dough, using up the second half of the filling and the remaining butter
  19. Add maple syrup, light brown sugar and pecans to a clean medium bowl
  20. Mix until combined
  21. Pour mixture into baking dish
  22. Add the buns to the baking dish, cover and let rest for approximately 30 minutes
  23. Bake - 20 min, 180°C
  24. Remove from oven and let cool
  25. Serve
