Step preview

  1. Attach the Creaming Beater
  2. Add butter and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix until smooth - 3 min, Speed 2
  5. Then add egg and vanilla extract to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Mix until light and fluffy - 2 min, Speed 2
  7. Then add all purpose flour, baking powder and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Mix until dough forms - 2 min, Speed Min
  9. Remove the dough from the bowl
  10. Wrap with plastic wrap
  11. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  12. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  13. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  14. Place dough on lightly floured surface
  15. Cut in half
  16. Take one half
  17. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  18. Cut into rounds
  19. Cut a small hole on the top of each cookie using the wide end of a small piping tip
  20. Repeat the same with the other dough half
  21. Transfer cookies to baking tray
  22. Bake until golden brown - 10 min, 180°C
  23. Remove from oven and let cool
  24. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  25. Attach the Creaming Beater
  26. Add egg white and icing sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  27. Mix - 2 min, Speed Min
  28. Mix until smooth - 8 min, Speed 1
  29. Transfer icing to small bowl
  30. Add food coloring to the small bowl
  31. Mix until combined
  32. Transfer icing to piping bag
  33. Pipe icing onto cookies
  34. Decorate with sprinkles
  35. Tie a piece of ribbon onto each cookie
  36. Serve
