Step preview

  1. Attach the K-Beater
  2. Add icing sugar, butter, all purpose flour and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 2
  5. Then add egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 2
  7. Remove the dough from the bowl
  8. Wrap with plastic wrap
  9. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  10. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  11. Remove the chilled dough from the fridge
  12. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  13. Cut into rounds
  14. Transfer pastry to cupcake pan
  15. Bake - 5 min, 180°C
  16. Remove from oven
  17. Fill with mince pie filling
  18. Cut a small circle or Christmas shape out of the lid and place on top of each pie
  19. Brush with egg
  20. Bake - 10 min, 180°C
  21. Remove from oven and let cool
  22. Dust with icing sugar
  23. Serve
