Step preview

  1. Attach K Beater
  2. Add icing sugar, butter, all purpose flour and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Mix - 2 min, Speed 2
  4. Then add egg to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix - 1 min, Speed 2
  6. Remove the dough from the bowl
  7. Wrap with plastic wrap
  8. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  9. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  10. Remove the chilled dough from the fridge
  11. Roll out until 1/8" (5mm) thick
  12. Cut into rounds
  13. Transfer pastry to cupcake pan
  14. Bake - 5 min, 180°C
  15. Remove from oven
  16. Fill with mince pie filling
  17. Cut a small circle or Christmas shape out of the lid and place on top of each pie
  18. Brush with egg
  19. Bake - 10 min, 180°C
  20. Remove from oven and let cool
  21. Dust with icing sugar
  22. Serve
