A childhood favourite in America, sloppy Joe burgers usually consist of ground beef in a sweet and sour ketchup-based sauce, barely held together by two soft buns. This vegan version replaces meat with earthy mushrooms, flavoured with the same ingredients for the sauce – ketchup, mustard, garlic, chilli powder - for an incredibly traditional-tasting twist on the classic.
