Healthy and packed with summer flavours, these paprika-spiced prawn skewers are super easy to make and served with a delicious parsley sauce. These prawns can be cooked on the BBQ or grilled for that smoky flavour. If you are using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes to prevent them from burning.

Step preview

  1. Assemble the Food Processor attachment to the machine
  2. Fit the Knife Blade to the Food Processor bowl
  3. Add olive oil, fennel seeds, ground cumin, smoked paprika, garlic clove and red wine vinegar to the Food processor attachment
  4. Attach the lid and ensure it is locked into place
  5. Blitz until completely mixed
  6. Transfer mixture to medium bowl
  7. Remove the attachment from the machine
  8. Add jumbo shrimp to the medium bowl
  9. Stir until coated
  10. Cover with plastic wrap
  11. Marinate in fridge - 30 min
  12. Clean the Food Processor attachment and Knife Blade
  13. Add fresh parsley, garlic clove, shallot, red chili, olive oil and red wine vinegar to the Food processor attachment
  14. Blitz until well blended
  15. Transfer sauce to small bowl
  16. Pre-heat Grill - high heat
  17. Remove the bowl from the fridge
  18. Thread the marinated prawns onto 8 soaked wooden skewers or metal skewers
  19. Grill and turn half way through - 4 min
  20. Serve
