The perfect accompaniment to roasted turkey, this stuffing wreath is simple to prepare and brings an extra festive sparkle to the Christmas dinner table. If you can’t find mini chipolatas, simply pinch a normal-sized chipolata in the centre, twist, and cut in half to create your own.

Step preview

  1. Add unsalted butter to a clean frying pan
  2. Heat until melted - medium heat
  3. Add onion to the frying pan
  4. Cook until softened while stirring occasionally
  5. Let cool - 15 min
  6. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  7. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  8. Attach K Beater
  9. Transfer onions to Kenwood Bowl
  10. Add sausage meat, breadcrumbs, apple, fresh sage, fresh parsley, lemon and fine sea salt to the Kenwood Bowl
  11. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed 1
  12. Place a tin in the centre of the prepared baking tray
  13. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to baking tray
  14. Shape the stuffing mixture around the tin into a circular wreath shape and then remove the tin
  15. Place mini chipolata sausage on a clean work surface
  16. Wrap with smoked bacon
  17. Gently pushed each wrapped sausage into the stuffing wreath, spacing them out evenly
  18. Add cranberry sauce and water to a clean small bowl
  19. Mix until combined
  20. Brush the mixture over the wreath
  21. Bake until cooked through - 40 min, 180°C
  22. Remove from oven and let cool
  23. Garnish with fresh rosemary
  24. Serve
