Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  3. Attach Dough Hook
  4. Add all purpose flour, baking powder, muscovado sugar, unsalted butter and buttermilk to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 1
  6. Then add hazelnuts, apple and ground cinnamon to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Speed Min
  8. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to lightly floured surface
  9. Knead lightly
  10. Roll out until 1 cm thick
  11. Cut into rounds
  12. Brush with egg
  13. Bake - 10 min, 220°C
  14. Remove from oven and let cool - 10 min
  15. Serve
