Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper then set aside
  2. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  3. Add hazelnuts and granulated sugar to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  6. Blend with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 12
  7. Transfer content of kCook bowl to medium bowl then set aside
  8. Clean kCook bowl
  9. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  10. Add all purpose flour, butter, granulated sugar and vanilla bean pod to the kCook bowl
  11. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  12. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  13. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 8
  14. Then add salt to the kCook bowl
  15. Transfer sugar mixture to kCook bowl
  16. Mix with filler cap fitted until combined - 2 min, speed 4
  17. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
  18. Transfer content of kCook bowl to work surface
  19. Shape into a rectangle until 2cm thick
  20. Wrap with plastic wrap
  21. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  22. Take about 1 tbsp of the dough at a time
  23. Roll into a ball
  24. Place on the baking tray pressing slightly to form a flat base
  25. Repeat with the rest
  26. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  27. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  28. Bake - 12 min, 180°C
  29. Remove from oven and let cool
  30. Clean kCook bowl
  31. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  32. Add dark chocolate to the kCook bowl
  33. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  34. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  35. Heat with filler cap removed - 15 min, 55°C, speed 1
  36. Set aside and let cool
  37. Transfer chocolate mixture to piping bag
  38. Pipe the chocolate on to the flat base of half the biscuits
  39. Take one chocolate topped biscuit and sandwich with a plain biscuit
  40. Repeat with the rest
  41. Serve
