Step preview

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add italian 00 flour, unsalted butter, icing sugar, lemon and fleur de sel to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 12
  6. Then add egg yolk to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 5 sec, speed 10
  8. Transfer pastry to lightly floured surface
  9. Shape into a ball
  10. Wrap with plastic wrap
  11. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  12. Pre-heat oven - 170°C
  13. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
  14. Transfer pastry to work surface
  15. Roll out into a circle until 3mm thick
  16. Transfer pastry to round pan
  17. Line and trim the edges
  18. Add apricot jam to the round pan
  19. Spread until level then set aside
  20. Roll out the left over pastry and cut into strips, about 1cm wide
  21. Arrange the strips on the tart
  22. Bake - 35 min, 170°C
  23. Remove from oven and let cool
  24. Serve
