Step preview

  1. Attach the Whisk
  2. Add milk, dried yeast and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Cook with splashguard fitted - 8 min, 36°C, Speed 1
  5. Remove the Whisk
  6. Add bread flour, egg yolk and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Attach the Dough Tool
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 1
  9. Then add butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Mix then scrape bowl - 10 min, Speed 1
  11. Remove the Dough Tool
  12. Prove with splashguard fitted until doubled - 1 hr, 30°C, Speed OFF
  13. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  14. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  15. Cut into pieces
  16. Roll into balls
  17. Place one ball on the prepared baking tray
  18. Transfer the rest of dough balls to baking tray
  19. Cover with a damp tea towel
  20. Let rest - 30 min
  21. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  22. Place the baking tray in the oven
  23. Bake until lightly browned - 20 min
  24. Remove from oven and let cool
  25. Dust with icing sugar
  26. Decorate with glace cherries
  27. Serve
