This is a traditional German biscuit similar to gingerbread, made with honey, ground almonds and lots of spices. This version is rolled out and festive cutters are used to create a mixture of shapes; once baked they are dipped in chocolate and allowed to set. These are great for giving as gifts at Christmas and easy to make with children.
