Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 150°C
  2. Line a clean round pan with parchment paper
  3. Add honey, golden caster sugar and marsala to a clean saucepan
  4. Cook until dissolved - 3 min, medium heat
  5. Attach K Beater
  6. Transfer content of saucepan to Kenwood Bowl
  7. Add candied citrus peel, dried dates, dried apricots, all purpose flour, ground cinnamon, hazelnuts, ground ginger, pistachios and ground cardamom to the Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 1
  9. Transfer content of Kenwood Bowl to round pan
  10. Bake - 35 min, 150°C
  11. Remove from oven
  12. Turn out onto cooling rack and let cool - 30 min
  13. Dust with icing sugar
  14. Serve
