Step preview

  1. Line a clean round pan with parchment paper then set aside
  2. Pre-heat oven - 150°C
  3. Add honey, golden caster sugar and marsala to a clean saucepan
  4. Cook until dissolved - 3 min, medium heat
  5. Attach K Beater
  6. Transfer content of saucepan to Kenwood Bowl
  7. Add hazelnuts, pistachios, candied citrus peel, dried dates, dried apricots, all purpose flour, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and ground cardamom to the Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix - 1 min, Speed Min
  9. Transfer mixture to round pan
  10. Bake - 35 min, 150°C
  11. Remove from oven
  12. Turn out carefully onto cooling rack and let cool - 30 min
  13. Dust with icing sugar
  14. Serve
