Step preview

  1. Add milk to a clean jug
  2. Microwave in microwave until lukewarm
  3. Add dried yeast and caster sugar to the jug
  4. Stir until combined then set aside - 15 min
  5. Attach Dough Hook
  6. Add all purpose flour, caster sugar, salt and butter to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Transfer yeast mixture to Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 5 min, Speed 1
  9. Then add marzipan, blanched almonds and dried cranberries to the Kenwood Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed Min
  11. Remove Dough Hook
  12. Cover with kitchen towel
  13. Prove - 1 hr
  14. Attach Dough Hook
  15. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed Min
  16. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  17. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  18. Roll out until 1 cm thick
  19. Cut the dough into 5 cm pieces
  20. Place shaped dough on baking tray
  21. Cover with kitchen towel
  22. Let rest - 15 min
  23. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  24. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  25. Remove from oven
  26. Brush with butter
  27. Dust with icing sugar and let cool
  28. Serve
