Step preview

  1. Grease a clean pudding bowl
  2. Attach Creaming beater
  3. Add dark chocolate to the EasyWarm Bowl
  4. Heat with splashguard fitted until melted - 10 min, 7, Stir 1
  5. Then add all purpose flour, muscovado sugar, cocoa powder, glace cherries, sultanas, currants, raisins, green apple, sunflower oil, treacle, kirsch, egg and salt to the EasyWarm Bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined then scrape bowl - 30 sec, Speed Min
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 sec, Speed Min
  8. Pour mixture into pudding bowl
  9. Grease a square of foil and lay a square of parchment paper over the top
  10. Make a crease through the middle of the foil and paper
  11. Lay the foil and paper on top of the pudding bowl, paper side down
  12. Tie string around the pudding bowl, then tie more over the top of the bowl to make a handle
  13. Place a trivet or upturned saucer into the base of the large saucepan
  14. Transfer pudding bowl to large saucepan
  15. Fill with water
  16. Heat until boiling - high heat
  17. Simmer then set aside - 2 hr 30 min, medium-low heat
  18. Let cool slightly - 10 min
  19. Remove the parchment paper and foil
  20. Place a serving plate on top of the bowl
  21. Invert the bowl to release the pudding onto the plate
  22. Serve
