This popular Argentinian sauce is the perfect accompaniment to fried steaks or any grilled meat. It’s easy to make and can be also served as a dressing on salads or marinade.

Step preview

  1. Add olive oil, red wine vinegar, fresh parsley, garlic clove, red chili, dried oregano, salt and black pepper to a clean small bowl
  2. Mix until combined then set aside - 10 min
  3. Transfer mixture to Mini Chopper attachment
  4. Attach the Mini Chopper attachment to the machine
  5. Blend until smooth
  6. Remove the attachment from the machine
  7. Add rump steak, kosher salt, black pepper and oil to a clean medium bowl
  8. Coat meat with seasoning
  9. Heat a clean frying pan until hot - medium heat
  10. Fry the steak until it is done to your liking
  11. Transfer meat to cutting board
  12. Slice into strips
  13. Place baguette on a clean cutting board
  14. Slice lengthwise
  15. Drizzle with sriracha mayonnaise
  16. Fill with mixed salad leaves
  17. Add the steak strips
  18. Top with the chimichurri sauce
  19. Serve
