This family size garlic bread is the perfect side to pasta, lasagne, or pizza. If you would like a more melted cheese topping add the cheese with 5 minutes left to bake.

Step preview

  1. Grease a clean baking tray
  2. Attach the Dough Tool
  3. Add strong white bread flour, salt, quick-rise yeast, water and olive oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 min, Speed 1
  6. Remove the Dough Tool
  7. Prove with splashguard fitted until doubled - 45 min, 30°C, Speed OFF
  8. Place dough on baking tray
  9. Cover with kitchen towel then set aside - 30 min
  10. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  11. Add garlic clove, butter and fresh parsley to a clean small bowl
  12. Mix until combined
  13. Transfer butter to dough
  14. Sprinkle with cheddar cheese
  15. Bake - 30 min, 200°C
  16. Serve
