Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Attach the Whisk
  3. Add sugar, all purpose flour, butter, whipping cream, baking powder and egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until dough forms - 5 min, Speed 1
  6. Transfer dough to baking tray
  7. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  8. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  9. Attach the Whisk
  10. Add flaked almonds, butter and milk to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  11. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 3 min, Speed Min
  12. Remove from oven
  13. Spread topping over cake and level
  14. Bake - 15 min, 180°C
  15. Serve
