Step preview

  1. Attach the Dough Tool
  2. Add all purpose flour, bread flour, baking powder and ground cinnamon to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Add vegetable oil, caster sugar, buttermilk, milk and egg to a clean jug
  4. Mix until combined
  5. Transfer mixture to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  6. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted then scrape bowl - 1 min, Speed Min
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 1
  9. Then add pear to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Mix with splashguard fitted then scrape bowl - 1 min, Speed 1
  11. Cover with plastic wrap
  12. Let rest - 20 min
  13. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  14. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  15. Roll out until 1.5cm thick
  16. Cut into rounds
  17. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  18. Brush with egg
  19. Let rest - 10 min
  20. Brush again with the remaining egg wash
  21. Bake until golden brown - 12 min, 190°C
  22. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
  23. Serve
