Step preview

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add milk, quick-rise yeast and sugar to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 4
  6. Then add italian 00 flour, butter and salt to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 5 min, speed 3
  8. Transfer dough to medium bowl
  9. Prove - 2 hr
  10. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  11. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  12. Divide into 4 equal pieces
  13. Shape each piece into a long log
  14. Pleat into a braid by crossing the two strands on the right, then place the strand on the far left across the two in the middle and repeat
  15. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  16. Brush with egg
  17. Bake - 30 min, 200°C
  18. Serve
