These pancakes are delicious on Christmas morning. Serve with maple syrup and toasted pecans, or fresh fruit. For a more indulgent breakfast serve with one of our flavoured Chantilly creams.

Step preview

  1. Attach Whisk
  2. Add egg, maple syrup, milk, baking powder, ground ginger, ground cinnamon, all purpose flour and golden caster sugar to the Kenwood Bowl
  3. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed Max
  4. Pre-heat a clean frying pan - medium-high heat
  5. Add unsalted butter to the frying pan
  6. Heat until melted
  7. Ladle some of the batter into frying pan
  8. Cook each side until golden brown - 2 min
  9. Transfer the pancake to a serving plate
  10. Repeat with the rest
  11. Serve
