Crème brûlée is a classic French dessert consisting of a rich custard base that is topped with a layer of caramelised sugar. The custard is typically made with egg yolks, cream, sugar, and vanilla, and is baked in a shallow dish in a water bath to ensure a silky-smooth texture. Just before serving, the dessert is sprinkled with a thin layer of sugar and caramelised using a blow torch or grill, creating a crispy, crackling crust on top. Crème brûlée is a luxurious and decadent dessert that is often served in high-end restaurants and is beloved by dessert enthusiasts worldwide.
