  1. Attach the Whisk Tool
  2. Grease and flour the round pan and set aside
  3. Add the first ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Whisk until light and fluffy - 30 min, speed 4
  5. Remove the appliance bowl from the machine
  6. Pre-heat the oven to 180 C
  7. Sift both flours into a medium sized bowl
  8. Sift the flours again
  9. Add the flour mixture gradually to the appliance bowl and fold in carefully with a spatula
  10. Pour the batter into the prepared round pan
  11. Bake - 20 min, 180°C
  12. Then lower the temperature and bake - 20 min, 160°C
  13. Remove the sponge from the pan immediately and place it on a cooling rack
  14. Let the sponge cool completely before cutting and filling it
