Step preview

  1. Preheat an oven to 180ºC
  2. Grease and line a springform tin
  3. Add the ingredients into a medium saucepan
  4. Heat, stirring constantly, until melted – low heat
  5. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Whisk Tool
  6. Add egg whites into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  7. Mix - 1 minute 15 seconds, speed Max
  8. Transfer the egg whites into a clean medium bowl and set aside
  9. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Creaming Beater
  10. Add the next ingredients into the appliance bowl
  11. Mix – 2 minutes, speed 2
  12. While the machine is running, gradually add the next ingredients
  13. Mix – 1 minute 30 seconds, speed 1
  14. Then add the melted chocolate mixture
  15. Mix – 30 seconds, speed 1
  16. Remove the appliance bowl from the machine
  17. Use a spatula to fold the egg whites into the mixture in three batches
  18. Pour the mixture into the tin and level with a spatula
  19. Bake – 30 minutes, 180ºC
  20. Remove from the oven and let cool – 30 minutes
  21. Place on a cooling rack to cool completely
  22. Dust with icing sugar
  23. Serve
